Grounded in Pride. Rising with Purpose.

About Norton Lindsey Lasses

Formed in 2025, the Norton Lindsey Lasses are the first ever Women & Girls Softball team at Norton Lindsey & Wolverton Cricket Club.

What began as a nerve-wracking first Women & Girls Softball Festival quickly became something far bigger. After torrential rain threatened to wash the day away, resilience, teamwork and a little bit of miracle sunshine brought it back to life. From that unforgettable afternoon of laughter, courage and competitive spirit, the Lasses were born.

We are a team built on belief — belief that cricket is for everyone.

Our squad includes complete beginners, returning players, and proud mother-and-daughter duos playing side by side. Many of our players took their first ever training session just an hour before their first match. Since then, confidence has grown, friendships have formed, and new talents have emerged.

The Lasses proudly champion the spirit of the Sport England This Girl Can campaign — breaking down barriers, challenging self-doubt and encouraging women and girls of all ages to get involved in sport without fear of judgement.
